Tacoma is a mid-sized urban port city and the county seat of Pierce County in Washington. Located on the Puget Sound, Tacoma is 32 miles southwest of Seattle, 31 miles northeast of Olympia (state capital), and 58 miles northwest of Mount Rainier National Park.
