According to Airbnb, cleanliness is one of the high standards and requirements that Airbnb hosts must abide by. In addition, hosts who consistently receive low cleanliness scores may be subject to penalties.

Guests on Airbnb will hold hosts to the same high standards of cleanliness as full-service hotels. They don’t want to trade down, and after all, most guests are paying a cleaning fee. Cleanstart offers reliable and timely short-term rental cleaning services you can count on. Our trained cleaners follow a multi-point Airbnb cleaning checklist.

Cleanstart understands COVID-19, we will clean and sanitize your Airbnb

Now and in the future, it’s important that we all do our part to help curb the spread of COVID-19. In addition to our multipoint Airbnb cleaning checklist, items like doorknobs, faucets, the flusher on the commode, light switches, gaming and remote controls, kitchen appliances, garbage cans, and any other items frequently touched items need to be wiped down with an EPA list N: disinfectant for coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the CDC.

Clean, disinfect, and sanitize are three crucial watchwords our cleaning pros adhere to so that your Seattle Airbnb rental property is spotless, sanitized, and safe for your guests.

Damage reporting and making sure inventory is stocked

Our cleaners will be on the lookout for any damages or vandalism. If we find any, we will take pictures and send them to you to assist you in your claims. We will also notify you if certain supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. are running low. Keeping your short-term rental unit adequately stocked with toiletries and other supplies is an important aspect of ensuring guest satisfaction as well as positive reviews and ratings. It’s easy to forget to replace supplies like toilet paper, and you can bet your guests will certainly take notice!

Periodic short-term rental deep cleans

Although cleaning your short-term rental between guest check-outs will keep your property looking fresh and tidy, it is important to schedule periodic deep cleans as well. Deep cleaning isn’t needed all the time, but it should be done at least several times per year. It’s best to use the same Seattle Airbnb cleaning services to do both regular and deep cleans because their cleaning crew will already be familiar with your unit and any unique requirements you may have.

At Cleanstart, our Airbnb deep clean includes our standard multi-point Airbnb cleaning checklist along with wiping all baseboards, cleaning inside and under the oven and refrigerator, shampooing carpets, cleaning inside of cabinets, cleaning windows (inside and outside), and any specialized cleaning of bathrooms and appliances.
