Supporting Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre

At Cleanstart, we are committed to serving the cities where we operate and contributing to our local communities. Our community outreach program supports local nonprofit organizations that share our fundamental values. We have gifted over 300 hours of service to local nonprofit organizations. They are the unsung heroes of our community, and we are thankful for their extraordinary contributions.

We offer our expertise, resources, and services for free or at a reduced cost, depending on the project’s scale and requirements. Recently, our staff volunteered their time and skills to rejuvenate the wooden flooring, carpets, and kitchen facilities for Seattle’s Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre, all without charge.

Cleanstart's Community Outreach: Supporting Broadway Bound Children's Theatre

Established in 1996 by the late Jimmy Nixon, a seasoned performer with over 100 stage credits in Hollywood and New York, Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre has served as a creative haven for young artists. Until his passing in May 2019 due to surgical complications, Jimmy Nixon held the role of Executive Artistic Director.

The theatre concentrates on live musical performances featuring young actors aged 5 to 18. Primarily serving the Seattle area, Broadway Bound welcomes young talents and opens its doors to the broader community, including schools, senior citizens, and nonprofit organizations, to experience live theater’s magic.

Broadway Bound is committed to fostering personal growth in children through hands-on engagement in the performing arts. They provide a nurturing yet professional environment where kids from various backgrounds are encouraged to develop mental, physical, emotional, social, and creative skills through disciplined yet enjoyable theatrical experiences.

The theatre offers a lineup of full-scale shows staged in professional venues throughout Seattle, enrichment classes, and a diverse range of summer camps. They strive to maintain an inclusive approach, allowing any interested students to participate.
