Giving Back to Our Community in 2020 and Beyond
We are all part of communities larger than ourselves, and being involved with that community is important. At Cleanstart, we value giving back to our community and are always looking for ways to offer special discounts and/or free services to our local-non-profit companies. We believe that giving back to the place you call home helps to unite the community and bridge some of the social, economic, and political gaps.
We also believe that a successful business is defined by much more than their annual profits, the products they sell or the services they offer. We want to engage with our community, contribute to the greater good, and create a culture of caring that resonates throughout everything we do. That is why we have made it our goal for 2020 and beyond to help our local non-profits “spiff” up their facilities.
Giving back to our community is highly important to the mission of Cleanstart. If you are a local non-profit business and would like free services, we would like to hear from you! Please reach out to us and ask about our initiative for helping non-profit local businesses that align with our values. We recently donated our time and resources to The Pathway Church here in Tacoma, WA.
A message from The Pathway Church:
“The Pathway is a small church with a big dream! We want to take God’s love and share God’s hope— the hope of JESUS— with all our neighbors in and around the city of Tacoma. How do we do that? The short answer is Intentional Community. The people of The Pathway have decided, and are renewing the decision every day, to live life on purpose. We are intentional about loving of God, intentional about loving and serving each other, and intentional about loving and serving our neighbors. We get it wrong a lot! But we’re trying to get it right together!
We have 2 pastors— Bobby Higginbotham & Jason Downing, but the heart and soul of our church are the people we call partners— they are the people who are The Pathway church! We are navigating the pandemic on a week-by-week- basis. Currently, we are meeting in a modified fashion on Sundays, 10:30-11:30 am, at Carpe Diem Academy (4501 6th Ave., Tacoma 98406) Everyone is welcome to join us in-person or on our Livestream (www.thepathwaytacoma.com). No matter who you are or what you believe, if you need help – we’re here for you and will help in any way we can (Bobby@thepathwaytacoma.com).“
